About our history

         The handball team Mladost from Resen is a young sport team formed in 2002. There are young athletes from 7 to 18 years. The purpose of forming this association is making the handball popular in Resen and Macedonia, correct psychological and physical development of the youth, mutual social life, keeping the youth from the street (keeping them away from smoking, alcohol, drugs etc.) as well as showing them  the right direction to become exemplary and useful citizen of the society.

          This young collective has affirmed itself on sport events and manifestations taking place home and abroad, such as:

          In Republic of Macedonia: national champions of Republic of Macedonia in pioneer category, three years in a row 2004,2005 and 2006; cadet competitions - one 4th place in 2005 and one 2nd place in 2006 on state championships, youth competition - two 3rd place in 2005 and 2006 and one 4th place in 2004 on state championships.

           International participation: in Hungary on "Cell Cup" on Balaton on international handball festival - 4th place in cadets in 2003, and on the same festival - 2nd place in pioneer category in 2004. Participation on the manifestation "Ivansko cvtetce" in Dolovo - Republic of Serbia and Montenegro, first place in pioneer category, two years in a row 2004 and 2005. Participation on a New Year's international tournament "Crvena Zvezda 2005" Belgrade - Republic of Serbia and Montenegro, with three teams generations 93, 90, 88. Generation 88 - 2nd place; generation 90 5th place and generation 93 -15th place.
